SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men's basketball team (5-1) returns to the friendly confines of Strahan Arena and hosts the Rice Owls (3-4) in a non-conference game at 7 p.m. Nov. 27 inside the newly-renovated Strahan Arena.
The Bobcats enters the game seeking their fourth straight victory after winning the Portland Classic championship and improving their record to 5-1 this season. Texas State has won both of its previous home games with a 67-57 victory over Air Force to open the season on Nov. 9 and defeating Hardin-Simmons 97-52 on Nov. 13.
Rice has a 3-4 record this season and closes a three-game road trip at Texas State.
