NEW ORLEANS – Stellar performances by Jordan Mason saw him be named to the Sun Belt Conference All-Tournament Team on Monday after he helped the Bobcats reach the semifinals for the second straight year as the No. 11 seed.
The sophomore guard 16.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game in Pensacola, Florida. He also shot 21-for-50 (42.0%) from the field and connected on 21-of-26 (80.8%) free throw attempts.
Mason began the week by scoring 19 points, grabbing seven boards, dishing out seven assists and recording two steals in the first round overtime win over Old Dominion.
