SAN MARCOS, Texas – Senior Heather Martin was named The Texas State University System Foundation 2019 Regents' Student Scholar Award recipient in September and received her medal and scholarship on Friday, Feb. 14, at the Regents Board meeting on the campus of Texas State University.
"I'm very honored and humbled to be the recipient of this year's Student Regent Scholar Award," said Martin. "I want to say thank to you everyone who has made this possible and all of those who reviewed my application. Go Bobcats!"
Regents' Scholars are selected by the chancellor based on outstanding academic achievement and scholarship, leadership abilities and contributions to the institution and their community.
