SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State men's golfer Logan Lockwood will compete in the 120th U.S. Amateur on July 10-16 at the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Brandon, Ore. It will be the second time in the past three years that Lockwood will play in the tournament.
The Van, Texas native qualified for the U.S. Amateur by finishing as the low amateur with a score of 11-under-par at the 50th Texas State Open that took place on July 28-31.
Lockwood tees off Monday on the Brandon Trails Course at 9:33 a.m. CT on the 7,218-yard, par-72 course.
