SAN MARCOS, Texas – Four home runs were hit by Texas State (8-5) in the eighth inning to propel the team to an 8-7 win over North Dakota State (1-12) Friday night in the series opener at Bobcat Ballpark. Overall, the Bobcats hit five long balls on the night that plated all of their runs.
"It's a big program win. I thought everyone showed up tonight. It didn't look great for a little while but the guys kept fighting. I felt like guys in the dugout didn't lose hope and found a way to win," said head coach .
