NACOGDOCHES, Texas – For the first time this season the Texas State soccer team (1-1-1) scored first in a match. However, Stephen F. Austin (1-2-1) netted two goals off corners kicks with the last coming with just under eight minutes to play as the Bobcats fell 2-1 Sunday afternoon at the SFA Soccer Field.
Early in the sixth minute, the Lumberjacks sent in a corner kick that saw Carli Arthurs get a head on the ball. made a leaping save to keep the ball out.
