WASHINGTON, D.C. – Texas State junior Jordan Kohl has started every match for Team USA, leading the squad to the PANAM Deaf Volleyball Championship Finals against Brazil on Independence Day at 2 p.m. CST.
Kohl and the rest of the team is undefeated in tournament play with wins over Brazil, Canada and Argentina. The team will play Brazil in the finals after already taking down Brazil, 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-17), on Thursday.
Team USA went on to sweep Canada and Argentina to secure a spot in the semifinals in which the team beat Canada again, 3-0 (25-8, 25-7, 25-16), in a dominating performance.
