SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State men's basketball coach Danny Kaspar announced Wednesday the schedule for the upcoming 2018-19 season.
The Bobcats will compete 31 times overall, with 14 of those games coming inside the newly-renovated Strahan Arena at the University Events Center. TXST will also have 15 road contests and two neutral-site tilts.
Texas State will play eight games against programs that advanced to postseason competition last season, including a trio of contests against two NCAA Championship teams in Arkansas and Georgia State (twice). Louisiana qualified for the 2018 National Invitation Tournament (NIT), ULM and UTRGV played in the 2018 College Basketball Invitational (CBI) and Drake and UTSA saw action in the 2018 CollegeInsider.
