SAN MARCOS, TX — Following a record-breaking performance in Texas State's back-to-back three-set wins at Louisiana over the weekend, Emily DeWalt has been selected as the Sun Belt Conference's Setter of the Week, the league announced Tuesday morning.
The recognition is DeWalt's 23rd career Sun Belt Setter of the Week honor and fifth this season and second consecutive. The five selections this season are tied for the second most by DeWalt in a single season — tying her junior season in 2020 — and is only behind her true freshman season in 2018, when her earned the award six times.
