Fort Worth, Texas – Texas State's Alex Jones and Ammaarah Tim combined for a pair of wins for the on the second day of the TCU Invitational at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
Tim recorded Texas State's first victory on Saturday when she defeated Maria Paula Medina of UTEP in straight sets on Saturday afternoon. Tim won the first set by a score of 7-5 and came back to secure the victory after winning the second set by a score of 6-2.
Jones won the second match of the day for the Bobcats when she came back to beat Luana Stanciu of ULM in three sets.
