SAN MARCOS, Texas — The Texas State women's basketball program added an additional student-athlete to its 2020-21 recruiting class as Jo'Nah "Boogie" Johnson has joined the Bobcats, the team announced.
Johnson comes to San Marcos after spending the previous two seasons at Texas Tech University after signing with the Red Raiders from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College as a sophomore and Central Oklahoma as a freshman.
"Jo'Nah's paper resume speaks for itself," said Texas State women's basketball head coach Zenarae Antoine. "Whether it is high school — where she led her team to the state tournament multiple years in a row — or junior college — where she was Freshman of the Year and an All-Region selection — or playing in the Big 12 Conference, where she will be receiving her degree, Jo'Nah is a winner!
