SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Football Writers Association of America, in partnership with the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, named Texas State senior wide receiver Jeremiah Haydel to its All-America Second-Team as a punt returner Wednesday afternoon.
Haydel is one of 54 players selected to two teams by the association's All-America committee after voting from the entire membership.
Haydel is one of three players from the Sun Belt Conference named to the FWAA All-America Team. Coastal Carolina defensive lineman Tarron Jackson is a first-team selection, while Haydel and Arkansas State's Jonathan Adams are on the second team.
