NEW ORLEANS – Texas State women's soccer forward Kassi Hormuth was named the Sun Belt Conference's Offensive Player of the Week following her performance in the opening weekend of conference play. This is the first weekly conference award for her in Bobcat career and by a Texas State player this season.
Hormuth began the weekend by assisting on Lauren Prater's game-winning goal just over four minutes into overtime on Friday against Little Rock. The junior recorded her second assist of the weekend when Clarissa Leon knocked in the game-tying goal in the first half against Georgia State.
