SAN MARCOS, Texas — Very few players in the Sun Belt Conference are playing better than Da'Nasia Hood is through Texas State's first two games of the new season. Hood, a junior forward, will take that hot start back to her hometown of San Antonio when the Bobcats play at Incarnate Word on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 7:00 p.m.
Last time out, Hood, who scored a game-high 25 points on 8-of-20 shooting in 39 minutes, was pivotal in Texas State's come-from-behind overtime win at SMU on Dec. 3. The win over the Mustangs marked TXST's first win in Dallas over SMU since 1977 and first win in the series overall since 1992.
