NEW ORLEANS – After a strong performance at the plate last week, Texas State junior outfield Will Hollis was selected as the Sun Belt Conference Community Coffee Pitcher of the Week. He is the third Bobcat to earn one of the two weekly conference honors this season.
Hollis led TXST with a .438 batting average (7-for-16) as the team extended its winning streak to 10 games, the longest active streak in the nation, after beating Texas in midweek action and sweeping Louisiana on the road.
The McKinney, Texas native also hit two home runs, two doubles and finished with eight RBIs and five runs scored during the week.
