SAN MARCOS, Texas – Junior guard Brooke Holle was named Sun Belt Player of the Week by College Sports Madness on Monday evening.
"Brooke is the epitome of a student-athlete," head coach Zenarae Antoine said. "She is stellar in the classroom and on the hardwood. It is wonderful to see her athletic accomplishments mirror her academic success. To be named College Sports Madess Sun Belt Player of the Week is an honor for Brooke, her family, our program and Texas State University. It is a great day to be a Bobcat!"
Holle was terrific in leading the Bobcats to a home sweep of the Arkansas schools, Texas State's first home sweep in Sun Belt Conference play this season.
