SAN MARCOS, Texas – For the second straight season against Rice, Mason Harrell had a 20-point performance but the Texas State men's basketball team fell 83-71 Sunday afternoon in Strahan Arena. Harrell totaled 23 points on the day with 15 coming in the second half.
With the loss, the Bobcats fall to 5-4 while Rice improves to 6-2.
"When you have an opportunity to get back to Strahan Arena it is a blessing. We have been on the road and as they say been around the world and back again. You have to give credit to Rice and coach Pera.
