SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State baseball head coach Steven Trout announced the hiring of former Major Leaguer Todd Haney as the team's Director of Player Development and Analytics on Thursday. This is Haney's second tenure with the Bobcats, serving in the same position for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
"Todd will be a huge addition to our staff and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our program," said Trout. "He was part of our 2019 championship team and we are excited to have him back. Any time you can add someone to your staff who's played in the big leagues and the College World Series, that makes your program better.
