NEW ORLEANS – Sophomore Madi Goss followed her first career hat trick on Sunday by being named the Sun Belt Conference's Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday. It is her first weekly accolade in her career and the second straight week that a Bobcat player has been following Defensive Player of the Week honors for Katelyn Chrisman last week.
Goss netted the first two goals of the contest within the first 18 minutes of the match against ULM. Both tallies came off corner kicks sent in by Juana Plata.
