NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Sun Belt Conference announced Thursday that Sadi Giles and Naomi Ferdinand earned 2019-20 Indoor Track and Field Specialty Awards in a vote of league coaches, and 10 Bobcats garnered All-Sun Belt Conference honors.
Giles was named the Women's Indoor Track Most Outstanding Performer after winning both the 60-meters and 200-meter races at the Sun Belt Indoor Track and Field Championships in a school-record time of 7.38 seconds and 24.03 seconds, respectively.
Ferdinand was voted the Women's Indoor Most Outstanding Field Performer after winning the triple jump with a leap of 12.
