TEMPE, Arizona — Texas State fell to Arizona State, 34-15, on the road Saturday night.
Brad Jackson threw for 184 yards with a touchdown and added nine yards on the ground and a score, while Beau Sparks led TXST (2-1) receivers with 10 catches for 70 yards and Lincoln Pare added 13 carries for 61 yards.
Tyler Robles connected on a 39-yard field goal with 2:16 to play in the first quarter to knot the teams at 3-3, but ASU (2-1) scored three times in the second quarter to take a 20-3 lead into halftime.
