SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State Director of Track & Field/Cross Country Jody Stewart announced the hiring of Austin Gamble as the program's new throws coach.
"We are excited to add Austin to our staff here at Texas State. Austin stood out during the interview process. He was the right fit for the student-athletes, the coaching staff and the future in rebuilding our throws program," said Stewart. "Austin was also highly recommended by some of the top throws coaches in the country as one of the premier up and coming throws coaches.
