STATESBORO, Ga. – The Texas State women's basketball will complete its four-game road trip this Saturday with a contest against Georgia Southern at Hanners Fieldhouse. Tip-off against the Eagles is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. CT.
Texas State looks to bounce back after a setback against Georgia State Thursday evening. The Bobcats overcame an early 12-point first quarter deficit against the Panthers, but struggled to hang on as a strong fourth-quarter by Georgia State lifted the Panthers to a 73-62 victory over Texas State.
In the game against Georgia State, the Bobcats were without its leading scorer, Kaitlin Walla, who stayed home in San Marcos due to illness.
