SAN MARCOS, Texas – The GJ Kinne Era will feature its first home conference game on October 14 and four home games over the final seven weeks of the season as the Sun Belt Conference released the game dates for Texas State's eight home conference games on Friday.
After their previously announced non-conference games against Baylor, UTSA, Jackson State and Nevada take place in the first four weeks of the season, the Bobcats will open conference play with back-to-back away games before hosting ULM for the home conference opener in mid-October.
Texas State plays at Southern Miss on September 30 and at Louisiana on October 7 to begin conference play.
