NEW ORLEANS — Following a dominating two-match stretch against UTA last week, Texas State senior outside hitter Janell Fitzgerald was selected as the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday morning.
"I am very happy Janell was recognized for her performances against UTA," said Texas State volleyball head coach Sean Huiet. "I think she put together her best weekend of the season both offensively and defensively."
