SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State quarterback TJ Finley continued to receive national attention for his performance in the double-digit win at Baylor last Saturday as he has earned weekly accolades from six different organizations.
In addition to being named the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, Finley was named a Manning Award Star of the Week, selected to the Davey O'Brien Great 8, and tabbed as the player of the week by the Scooter's Coffee Frisco Bowl and Lone Star Sports & Entertainment. He was also named an honorable mention for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Player of the Week.
