SAN MARCOS, Texas – Elijah Kennedy, a rising sophomore who played last season for Florida, will transfer to Texas State starting with the 2022-23 season, head coach Terrence Johnson announced.
The second transfer from Florida for the Bobcats this year, Kennedy played in 23 games off the bench for the Gators last season. The 6-3 shooting guard averaged 1.3 points in 6.4 minutes per game.
"Elijah is a great addition to our program," said Johnson. "He's a dynamic guard that can score at all three levels. His strength, athleticism and knack for scoring adds versatility to our perimeter play.
