SAN MARCOS, Texas – delivered a walk-off single to center field in the eighth inning of Saturday night's game to earn the Bobcats another walk-off win against UT Arlington. Texas State remains undefeated in the TXST Classic with the 6-5 win over the Mavericks.
Both sides got out to a slow start in the game, and it took until the bottom of the fourth inning for either side to get on the score sheet. It came off a big RBI from that brought in and to give the Bobcats the 2-0 lead.
In the top of the fifth, the Mavs would pull back one run on an RBI single, then in the top of the seventh, the Mavs earned the tying run and forced the Bobcats to make some changes and fight for the win.
