Texas State University President Dr. Denise Trauth, announced on Thursday, April 29, 2021, that Dr. Larry Teis, Director of Athletics, will step down from his position on August 31, 2021, and assume the position of Special Assistant to the President for Athletics for one year.
Mr. Don Coryell, Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Operations, will assume the role of interim Director of Athletics beginning September 1, 2021.
"Larry joined Texas State in 1999 as Associate Director of Athletics for External Operations, and in 2004, I promoted him to Director of Athletics.
