SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State softball team (5-5) could not close out Sam Houston State (5-6) on Wednesday evening at Bobcat Softball Stadium. The Bearkats stole a 4-3 game from the Bobcats in eight innings.
KEY MOMENTS
- After a leadoff hit-by-pitch and a walk gave the Bobcats two baserunners in the bottom of the first inning, junior infielder dumped a single into left center to score the first two runs of the ballgame.
- The Bobcats coughed up a two-run lead late in the game by allowing Sam Houston State to score a run each in the fifth and the sixth inning.
