SAN MARCOS, Texas — There's level, then there's the next level Meagan King occupied Sunday afternoon as the senior right-handed pitcher threw her first complete game shutout of the season as Texas State knocked off Georgia Southern, 1-0, to sweep the weekend series.
"I thought (Meagan) came in yesterday and did a great job, so it was an easy decision to go right back to her today," said Texas State softball head coach Ricci Woodard. "She threw really well today and kept (Georgia Southern) off balance all day.
