SAN MARCOS, Texas – This Saturday the Texas State cross country teams travel to the campus of Troy University to compete in the Sun Belt Conference Championships. The women will run a 5K course starting at 10 a.m. and the men will compete on an 8K course that is schedule to begin at 11 a.m.
The Bobcat men enter the championships ranked ninth in the South Central Region, one of three SBC programs in the poll along with UL Lafayette and UT Arlington. Over the last two regular season meets, Joseph Meade has been the squad's top finisher.
