Costly turnovers haunt Bobcats in 23-14 loss to Cowboys

SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State football team (0-2) could not hang on to a halftime lead and fell to the Wyoming Cowboys (2-0) by a score of 23-14 on Saturday evening at Bobcat Stadium.

- Junior quarterback Gresch Jensen completed 33-of-54 passes in the game for 394 yards. The yardage total was the most for a Bobcat since Tyler Jones netted 475 yards in a victory over Incarnate Word in 2016. He added one touchdown and two interceptions.
- Senior wide receiver Hutch White hauled in 10 receptions for 96 yards, while freshman wide receiver Jah'Marea Sheread tallied four catches for 79 yards and a score.
