Days don't get much better for Texas State than Friday.
Before Corrina Liscano's moonshot struck her bat and landed near the train tracks in left field, the fans inside Bobcat Softball Stadium were treated to a sun-drenched, unseasonably warm day in the low 80's.
Albeit in much cooler conditions — but in almost the same fashion as Liscano — Bianca Prado sent a mistake from Oklahoma State pitcher Brandi Needham into the night sky and Texas State walked off with a pair of victories to open its 2016 campaign at the Century Link Classic.
