The Jaguars’ Devin Brown wishes she could say the same thing about Texas State.
For the third time in the span of three weeks, Rupp outdueled Brown — although the last game of that trio was the most important one to date.
Behind Rupp’s electric pitching on Thursday afternoon at Jaguar Field, the Bobcats recorded a 5-0 victory over South Alabama during the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. With the win, the Bobcats (38-18) advanced into today’s semifinals where they will face No. 1 seed Louisiana-Lafayette at 11 a.m.
“Any time you have Randi Rupp in the circle, you have to like your chances to win the ball game,” Texas State head coach Ricci Woodard said.
