College Football: Georgetown wide receiver Beau Corrales bound for Texas State in 2017

Texas State filled a position of need, although Everett Withers and company will have to wait until next season to see the fruits of their labor.

On Monday, Georgetown wide receiver Beau Corrales offered his verbal commitment to the Bobcats. He announced his decision on Twitter, writing "Thank you so much to all the schools that have shown interest in me and recruited me, but after a lot of thought, talk and prayer I have decided to verbally commit to Texas State."

After an offseason during which Texas State booted three wide receivers from the team (Justin Gamble, Brice Gunter and Demun Mercer) for disciplinary reasons and saw another (Kwamane Bowens) elect to no longer play football, Corrales is a welcomed sight.
