There is one Big 12 school from the state of Texas that Ty Harrington’s club loves seeing on the schedule.
But, when it comes to on-field success, it’s the Baylor Bears who have been the Bobcats’ punching bag in recent years. Texas State, which swept last season’s three-game set, including two contests in Waco, has posted a 5-2 record against Baylor during the past three years.
If the Bobcats (8-4) make it three straight in Waco, they will finally snap a three-year long losing skid in midweek road games (22 straight setbacks to be exact).
On the bright side, Texas State travels to Baylor Ballpark for tonight’s 5:05 p.
