Players from Coastal Carolina and Arizona weren’t the only ones on the diamond this week.
Sure, the two College World Series participants, which squared off for the title during a decisive game three on Wednesday night in Omaha, Nebraska, are chasing the summer’s biggest prize.
But, for everyone else, the summer months offer the chance to gain experience in collegiate leagues. Count Texas State among the schools whose players are cashing in on this opportunity. The Bobcats have 21 current or future players who are spread throughout the country this summer (Alaska, California, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Texas, Vermont, Washington and Wisconsin).
