Russell Baker has been a stalwart on the Texas State offensive line since he stepped foot on campus.
A transfer from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, the Oklahoman has started 20 of the 24 games since 2020. He missed the four games due to injury last season, but when he's on the field, he has been able to fill in where needed but also stand out at each position.
He was named All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention by the conference coaches and media in 2020 and then All-Sun Belt Third Team by PFF in 2021. This summer, he was named to a pair of all-conference preseason teams (PFF, Athlon Sports).
