SAN MARCOS, Texas – Mason Harrell scored 19 points, including 12 in the second half, while Nighael Ceasar added 12 points as Texas State moved one game closer to securing a Sun Belt championship by beating Little Rock 68-50 on Saturday at Strahan Arena.
The victory over Little Rock (8-16, 3-9 Sun Belt) put Texas State (19-6, 10-3 Sun Belt) in position to clinch its second straight conference championship by needing only one win in its final two games. The win also clinched at least top-three seed for the Sun Belt tournament in early March.
