SAN MARCOS, Texas – Thursday night sees the Texas State men's basketball team back in action when the Bobcats host Appalachian State for a 7:30 p.m. contest in Strahan Coliseum.
Texas State has dropped five straight and enter with a 9-12 record and 3-9 mark in the Sun Belt Conference while the Mountaineers are 6-17 overall, 4-8 in league play and have lost three consecutive games.
Of the four meetings, three have ended with an Appalachian State victory. The first meeting this season saw the Mountaineers jump out to a 30-8 lead on their way to a 20-point win.
