SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State's track and field team will compete at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Ala., on Monday and Tuesday, and the Bobcats are aiming for the finals and more.
"Our focus is to, first, get to the finals. Then, we have to execute and compete hard," said Jody Stewart. "If we do that, the rest will fall into place."
Stewart believes the Bobcats have put themselves in strong position because every meet they've had this season, the team has shown improvement. The best aspect of the team's improvement is that it has come throughout the entire squad.
