SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State University softball team took a pair of wins in a mixed doubleheader on second day of the annual CenturyLink Classic on Saturday. The Bobcat offense went yard twice in the first game to defeat Iowa 2-0, then produced 10 hits in an 8-0 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

Back-to-back two-out home runs by and broke open a scoreless game in the sixth and lifted Texas State to the 2-0 win over Iowa.
Texas State threatened with two out in the first as singled up the middle and drew a walk.
