SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State Twilight Meet, the final home meet for the Bobcats this season, saw three athletes—Shedrack Akpeki, Melanie Duron and Danie Strooh—move up in the NCAA D1 West rankings for regional qualifying, and one Bobcat, Kason O'Riley, record a new facility record in their respective events.
Shedrack Akpeki had a monstrous day on the track in both the men's 100m and 200m. In the 100m, Akpeki recorded a time of 10.18 (+2.8m/s), which registered as the fastest all-conditions time in TXST history.
