Texas State track and field, with five athletes with conference-leading times in eight different events this year, are set to compete in the 2023 Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships on Monday and Tuesday in Birmingham, Ala.
The two-day meet consists of 17 men's events and 17 women's events to decide team and individual champions.
Sedrickia Wynn (3 events), Dominick Yancy (2 events), Daniel Harrold, the men's 4x400 relay and Melanie Duron are the leading Bobcats entering the conference meet. Wynn has the top times in the women's 60 meters, 60 meter hurdles, and 200 meters while Yancy is tops in the men's 200 and 400 meters.
