TROY, Ala. – Sunday saw Texas State score 11 runs in the fifth inning on the way to taking the series finale 14-3 in seven innings over 20-ranked Troy at Riddle-Pace Field. It was the first time that the Bobcats have scored double-digit runs in an inning since plating 10 against Prairie View A&M on Feb. 27, 2024.
With the result, TXST improved to 21-23 overall and 9-12 in the Sun Belt Conference while the Trojans are now 31-13 on the season and 14-7 in league play.
Bryson Dudley (4-1) tossed four scoreless innings out of the bullpen with four strikeouts to pick up the win.
