SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State is ranked No. 22 in the Collegeinsider.com (CIT) Men's Mid-Major Top 25 Poll announced Monday. This is the Bobcats first ranking this season and the first time since last year where they were tabbed No. 23 on March 4, 2019. Texas State began the 2019-20 season receiving six votes in the preseason poll (Nov. 4, 2019).
The Bobcats (20-10, 13-6 Sun Belt) earned a ranking behind a five-game winning streak and major victories against Little Rock (74-66), Georgia State (86-76), and a thrilling triple overtime win at UT Arlington (87-85).
