SAN MARCOS, Texas - The Texas State football team signed its first three players of the 2021 recruiting class on the first day of the early signing period on Wednesday. Signing with the Bobcats were graduate transfers Charles Fletcher and Eric Sutton, along with junior college transfer DeOnte Washington.
A native of Greenville, N.C, Fletcher is an offensive lineman who comes to Texas State from North Carolina State. He comes to Texas State with two years of eligibility remaining.
Sutton is a defensive back who transfers to Texas State from SMU. He played in 37 games with five starts throughout his career with the Mustangs before sitting out last season.
