SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men's and women's track and field teams opened their 2021 outdoor season setting three school records and winning five events while competing at the 93rd Annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays and the Bobcat Invitational on March 25-27.

Mthembu set another school record with a time of 29:25.41 to finish fifth in the men's 10,000 meters and broke the previous school record of 30:16.
