SAN MARCOS, Texas — The previously scheduled softball game between Texas State and the University of Texas has been re-scheduled from Wednesday, March 24 to Wednesday, April 21 with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m.
The two teams met earlier this season on Wednesday, Feb. 24 with the Longhorns escaping with a 1-0 win in eight innings after TXST freshman right-hander Jessica Mullins scattered only four hits and did not allow an earned run throughout a career-high 7.2 innings in just her second career collegiate start.
The Bobcats (15-3) begin Sun Belt Conference play this weekend with a trip to Appalachian State.
